Govind Pratap Singh, a 2nd year MBBS student who had sent a proposal for ICMR-STS (Short term studentship) project under the guidance of Dr. Jyotirmayee Bahinipati, Assistant Professor and Dr. Viyatprajna Acharya, Associate Professor, Dept. of Biochemistry, was selected for the academic session of 2014-15. He is now working on the project ‘A Comparative analysis of effect of physical factors on oxidation of edible oils commonly used in India’. The team of young scientists hope to contribute some scientific information regarding choice of edible oil, method of use, storage and transport.
