A national conference on Appropriate Technology
and Management of Infrastructure in Disaster Prone Areas was inaugurated
by Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Prof. (Dr.) Richard R. Ernst here
on 26th Jan, 2007. Prof Ernst was on a three-day visit to the
University, the first ever by a Nobel Laureate to any university
in the state.
