| HOLI, the colourful festival was celebrated with much joy and verve in the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS). The Management, Staff and Students drowned in the colourful mood of the festival amidst noted cine artists and singers from the oriya film industry. Among those present were yesteryear heroes, Uttam Mohanty & Hara Patnaik, Tulasi & Smruti of the currently aired popular soap 'TULASI'. Noted singers Lalatendu Rath & Sikander Alam also performed on stage. Students dressed as lord Krishna & Radha added more galore to the occasion followed by the breaking of the traditional Matka from the human pyramid formed by the tribal students of KISS. President, Smt Saswati Bal and Secretary KISS, Dr. A. Samanta were also present on the occasion. Dr. A. Samanta encouraged the students to have a postitive thinking like the vibrant colours of Holi. | |
