School of Electronics Engineering aims to produce electronics engineering professionals with a thorough understanding of analogue and digital electronics and microprocessor hardware and software. Graduates of the School are versatile, adaptable, possess technical knowledge, analytical capability and practical design skills relevant to the specification, design and test of electronic and communication systems. The classroom studies are supported by fully equipped and advanced laboratories where student work on solving real life problems through electronic devices. Courses are in line with various National and International institutions and are regularly updated to keep pace with rapidly changing technology. The School, which has a qualified and experienced team of faculty members, conducts regular workshops/seminars/invited talks to enhance both students' and faculty members' horizons of knowledge.

The School is actively engaged in research and development activities in areas ranging from thin film CIGS solar cells to development of nanoporous electrode. Its initiatives are supported by Govt. of India agencies like Department of Science and Technology, Department of Atomic Energy, AICTE, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Defense Research and Development Organisation, etc.
